The river beach of Foz do Sabor has unique conditions for water sports and leisure. Its location, where the Sabor River flows into the Douro, offers immense and desirable vast area of water, where the Douro opens and penetrates the wide valley of Vilariça, allowing a landscape rich in contrasts. It has a flat paved area for manoeuvring towing vehicles and boats, a landing and docking pier, including other support services, such as storerooms, a bar and toilets. It also includes a picnic space, in a wooded area, with essential equipment for that purpose, as well as parking to facilitate the conditions of access to the place.
