On the 19th of June 1979 Garfo 1 was founded, and in June 2003 (with new installations) it gave place to Garfo 2. With thirty years of experience, the Restaurant O Garfo 2 has an enviable reputation for its excellent food and a friendly and informal atmosphere.
Our kitchen, made up of traditional dishes, made with selected regional products, offers you a quality service, so that you can taste our flavours and aromas, and where you can find a variety of typical Trás-os-Montes dishes that justify your visit. Among which we highlight: the “Posta à Garfo 2”, wild boar, the Segada soups, the “Feijoada à Transmontana” or the “Caldeirada de Cabrito” (traditional stews), the roasted pork loin with chestnuts, the Rabbit “à Caçador” (Hunter’s style), or the roasted piglet.
