In the historic centre of Vila nova de Foz Côa you can find the Manueline-style Mother Church, recognized as a national monument since 1910, the Clock Tower built in the reign of Dom Afonso V, as well as the two sides of the rampart, only vestiges from the castle of Vila Nova de Foz Côa. You can also visit the Chapel of Santa Quitéria (probably an old synagogue).
