Made with almond and mushrooms because Mogadouro is the “Capital dos cogumelos" and, at the same time, almond production is one of the predominan agriculture in region.

The name is inspired by the book of short stories published in 1891 by Trindade Coelho, a Mogadouro writer, born in 1861 . Masterpiece that reflects through a set of previous stories in a nostalgic way, life in the countryside, old memories of childhood spent in the village of Mogadouro. This sweet cake also appears as a tribute for the commemoration of the 110th anniversary of the death of this story teller master and as a way to delight customers with new recipes for traditional sweets, made with endogenous reference products.
