PUDIM DE CASTANHA
The chestnut is for most Portuguese a seasonal fruit, linked to the Magusto festivities. However, this endogenous product is increasingly common in kitchens, where innovative dishes and desserts are creatively made. This rise of chestnuts to the level of gourmet cuisine and healthy products has paved for new ways of transforming the fruit. This is the case of the Chestnut Pudding, which is essentially composed of chestnuts, eggs, milk, and sugar.
