wheat flour, homemade brandy, eggs, sugar, lard, baking soda and baker's yeast /Belonging to the popular sweets, they are handcrafted from local products: wheat flour, homemade brandy, eggs,to these, sugar is added, lard, baking soda and yeast.
We find them at “Vítorró”/”Bitórró” party, also known has "Festa do Santo Nome de Jesus", at the 3rd Sunday of January, at Soutelo, a small village that belongs to Mogadouro. Its beginning came from a promise made by the villagers. They promised to carry it out if they managed to get rid of the anthrax epidemic, an epidemic that killed humans and animals.
